In an effort to learn the sklansky karlson hand rankings, i have been researching the origins of the problem. My research has led me here (http://archiveserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=362338&page=&view=&sb =5&o=&vc=1). Will someone please explain where the hell .9 times 2, plus .03 times (x+1), minus .07 times (x+1) comes from.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Johnny

.9 is due to 90% of hands not being called (because they are worse than A8)
.03 is from the 10% of the time that they are called, times the 30% time the better hand loses anyway.
.07 is from the 10% of the time that they are called, times the 70% time that the better hand wins
