Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP3 (t630)
CO (t1482)
Button (t1250)
SB (t160)
BB (t440)
UTG (t2355)
UTG+1 (t585)
Hero (t840)
MP1 (t1138)
MP2 (t1120)

Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG calls t50, <font color="#CC3333">UTG+1 raises to t150</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero .... </font>,

I hate this spot. TT is such a difficult hand to play, IMO. Calling off this many chips to see a pot, is a little expensive. This smells like a coinflip.

Fold. And folding here isn't weak tight, unless weak tight means smart.

Assuming we for some reason MUST play this hand (and bear with me even though I make such a disgusting assumption). Do I want to call and push/call when no overcards hit (as I don't have any fold equity here anyways) or will that just let him call when he beats me and get away when he doesn't?

I think weak tight play is usually optimum strategy.

Maybe in the $20 home games I play with friends when we go away to Deep Creek. Tight/aggressive is more likely to get it done on Party $109 SNG's.

Yeah just because you fold a hand sometimes doesn't mean it's weak tight play. Honestly Ive always hated the whole weak tight, loose passive, loose aggressive terms but whatever.

That's what I mean. Folding TT is arguably an aggressive play, because you're saving chips to go all the way in a pot where you're more sure that you're a favorite.

In this hand, not only am I not sure that TT is a favorite, but on the average, I think it's a dog.

Call me crazy, but I would have folded TT in 1st position preflop. If I did screw up and hit the call button, I would hit the call button again 100% of the time for 100 more chips.

I fold JJ under these conditions too. Is that too weak?
