Anyone know the release date on this? Also when does the cover design contest start? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Unless there is extraordinary news I'm not aware of, I doubt this would ever happen.

I don't think Mason would want to replace HEPFAP. The Advanced Players books are 2+2's signature books.

It would be great to see a high stakes book, though. Although, as far as i know, Ed is far too busy with the NL book to commit to another project.

Ed's book fits the style of your typical competition up to at least the $20-$40 in most casinos. From there you have HEPFAP which is the best advice once not only you are competent, but your competition is as well.

HEPFAP really isn't applicable for most games above the 30/60 or 40/80 level. Many of the players are thinking on higher levels, and the games tend to be shorthanded. Of course, the shorthanded section in the book has some good information for most of these games.

Yeah, plus the guys at 2+2 would probably rather have a book written by someone who can actually beat those games.

According to his books, Ed's been successful playing anywhere between 10/20 & 30/60 for about 16 months now.
