in holdem how do u calculate how much of a favorite or underdog you are at anytime during a hand? i am not the greatest math wiz so lamens terms please and it dont have to be exact just somthin to do in my head at the table. a response is greatly appreciated for this world series wannabe

Try
Figure out what cards (called outs) will give you the best hand.
Example
You have AcKc and the board is Jc5c2d.
You think he might have a set, so the 9 remaining clubs will more than likely give you the winning hand.
The fastest way to do this at the table, is to use the 2-4 rule. If you have one card to come, mulitiply your outs by 2. If you have 2 cards to come, mulitiply your outs by 4. So 9 outs on the flop is 36% and on the turn is 18%.
In actual is 34.97% on the flop and 19.57% on the turn but it is close.
