You should have folded the river, because I doubt a lot of people would risk 1/4 of their stack if they didnt want a call. It is a very curious bet/fold by him. However, this is just another case of good things happening to those who push.

I agree, I would not do this all time. This guy had been playing very weak before and I am sure he did not want to bust when the other players had shorter stacks than him. I felt like was playing not to lose instead of trying to take 1st.

I did find it odd he did not call, but once he did fold I knew I could push him around whenever I wanted to.
