I'd sometimes call his flop 3-bet and raise the turn, but I don't mind your play here.

It's just an extra SB you're getting, nothing to get overworked about.

I like it.

Preflop makes perfect sense, of course.

Flop three-bet looks like an overpair or a set, but no set on this board is strong enough to have made a 7% PF raiser bump from MP1 preflop. Flush draw won't play this way, either -- it shuts its mouth after the raise.

Turn bet is for value. No raise reinforces the "no flush, no pocket aces, no set" theory.

River bet is for value. KK-TT call this river bet, and no 7 plays this hand the way MP1 did. The only hand that realistically beats you on this board is 99, and the odds of that are small enough that the river bet is safely for value.

That extra SB is about 20 hands worth of work for most players. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think Entity beat me to it, but 1/2 a SB is a reasonable amount to give up on one hand. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

tru, tru. I took that line with AA over KK and then that jerk ErrantNight sucked out on me on the river, I was pissed. I blame the flop 3-bet call and raise on the turn, if I'd just capped the flop I would have won.
