I was in Vegas this weekend and Harrahs is using Copags now. I asked a few dealers and the few that I asked appear to like using the Copags. One said they are much better than the old cards they used. I asked if the previous ones were Kem, she wasn't sure.

They were the Elite design, I think they had a similar but different graphic in the center.

I'll post a trip report in Brick n' Mortar later.

Cool...someone noticed. I actually sold those cards to harrahs. A couple of other interesting tidbits. The previous card was A Plus (ack). Also, the WSOP will be dealing Copag this year.

Regards,
Jeff

I haven't heard much about A Plus.

The absolute worst cards I saw were at the Tropicana. Club King I think? They were terrible! Reminded me of Royal cards. Very stiff and not easy to handle.

Nice deal for you!

Hey, pass this along to Brazil- Magnum index, small pips in four corners.

Thanks
LL

Not 100% sure of the name, but they were terrible! I couldn't belive a casino would use cards that were that bad.

Do you know if different Copag cards have different textures or feel? I have heard some people say the Elite, Export, and Master all feel differently. Just curious. Thanks.

you are probably thinking of Stud King. never seen them but saw them sold at gamblersgeneralstore.

Pretty interesting that the WSOP is going Copag. they better have a custom back to them! can a pre-order a set now?

Other than Ebay, I've only seen Stud Kings at www.wedoitallvegas.com. (http://www.wedoitallvegas.com.)

The only Copags that I know of which had a different feel were the Copag Signature's which I believe were discontinued. Most folks agreed that these were the best of the Copag line. Try searching 2+2 for "Copag Signatures"; there was a large thread on this a while back.

yes, they are going to be customized.

I don't know about the resell though. I think that one is still up in the air..as the WSOP has distributors that lock up all the ability to sell any WSOP logo'd stuff.

Thanks for the info.

However, the inventory situation in the US has been difficult to maintain lately. Once the regular stuff can keep up with demand...the less main stream items like 4 pips and magnum will begin to be introduced.

Yup, those are the ones! Absolutely terrible! I thought they were Royals at first.

Most of the casinos were using circle back Kems.
