View Full Version : Calling bets or raises multiway from blinds, with draws

I'm wondering whether I've been making a mistake playing middle connecting, or suited cards from the blinds.

For example, say I'm in sb with 75s. 2 people limp. I've been completing (unless bb is particularly aggressive). But even if a flop gives me a draw, I'm out of position. So maybe it's just not worth it.

Similarly, say I have the same cards, or even 76s in the bb. MP player raises and 1 or 2 people call before I act. Again, I've been calling here, despite the position problem.

Are these mistakes in general, even if the table is 2/4 or 3/6, and not especially aggressive post-flop? Would the answer change if my cards were something like Q5s or K2s?

Question too boring?

These are both easy calls with two limpers.

Both no-brainers.

I've been starting to tighten up in the BB a bit, so I probably wouldn't play 75s in the BB if there were only two other opponents, but in general I'll limp with any suited connectors in the blinds/call a raise in the BB with any suited connectors. The one-gappers and two-gappers, might be a little more picky.

If these are easy calls, then can I start winning with them soon, please?
