I've had my electric shaver for over 3 years now, and in the past few months it's acquired the "wet dog" or "dirty rain" smell.. does anyone know what I mean? Well, it's gross... and my shaver leaves the smell on my skin after I shave. How the hell do I get rid of it? I tried washing the smell off with soap and drowning the thing in water.

Time for a new razor. You can try taking it apart completely and washing each piece (use soap, maybe some alcohol) but I dont think that is going to work. How many BBs is a new razor anyway?

Clean it whith bleach/water solution 1:5 ratio. If that does'nt work use more bleach.

No problem, what good is being "handsome" if you smell like wet dog.

Any idea how to deal with clothes that retain this smell, particularly fuzzy jackets that only smell normal for one day after washing? I have this problem, but a friend of mine said the same thing about her jacket...
Are fuzzy jackets cursed, or is it just me (us)? /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Put a pound of raw hamburger in your closet for 12 weeks.

Couldn't I just move a plate of 12-week old raw hamburger from the fridge to the closet for a few days instead?
