Don't check first, just push.

I read somewhere that when you're playing headsup, bet middle pair like it's top pair. That seems smart here.

No, that's okay. If you think I should've pushed first, than 'moeron' is the correct answer.

open push the flop.

checkraising is just no good with that few chips.

If you know your opponent will bet a large % of the time, check raising is probably just fine. If not...then I'd bet. It depends how you feel about the opponent.

As long as this is more of a variation type play I think its fine. You have to checkraise hands like this sometimes agaisnt observant opponents or he will bet way too much when you check. Sometimes you want free cards, this is a good way to get them.

With most of the opponents I usually find myself against who limp a bit pre-flop without premium hands I always check raise, since they tend to always bet when checked to.

I like the play, but I couldn't bring myself to click the first option.

I prefer the checkraise against standard opponents, for all the reasons stated..

Only problem is when your opponent pushes, you'll have a hard time calling.

I prefer an open push here.

I agree...not really. I see this flop and I know I am getting my money in. I am checking here not because I "may" fold or push depending on villain's bet but because I dont want him to fold if I open push...I like him getting some money in first...this is exactly how I would play this HU with this stack...u r getting your money in there...the only question is "how" and I think this line is fine.

Great Play against aggressive opponnents. Especially when you are down this low. Worst case is that they check and hit a card they needed. It's a really easy call if they open push on the flop IMO.

If your opponent pushes this is almost always a clear call.
