Two questions about this hand. First, was the preflop raise a mistake? And second, should I have reraised the river?

Opponents here were pretty typical 2/4, i.e., loose and passive.

PF is limper/BB dependant buts its not wrong.

river is a terribly easy 3-bet.

In retrospect, I think I know what muddied my thinking on the river.

First, I was concerned guy had trips on flop and made a boat on river. But I realize now that he would likely have played trips faster on flop.

Second, I had it in the back of my mind that raising again could drive out the bb. But even if it did, I'd still be extracting a bet out of the utg player. And it was at least possible bb was going to call too.

So I agree river was misplayed. Any other opinions about preflop?

2 pair w/ a jack or a set put in a raise somewhere on the flop or turn, so they are exceedingly unlikely by the river. 3bet your flush for value.
