Do you think a player could have a positive ROI by only being able to look at his cards between levels 1-3 and ITM?

I'm pretty sure I could.
Positive meaning over 1%....not a strong one. But yes. If you make it 1-4 then its a lock.

its all position and blind steals...as Giga said several times in his discussions 'i would have done that regardless of what cards i had'...this happens constantly in blind stealing. Whether you have AJs or J3 off, a push is a good move. Read The article sent from god (http://teamfu.freeshell.org/tournament/theorem_blind_stealing.html) and its damned near a mathematical certainty that it can be done.

Care to elaborate?
I think it would be possible given the player knows how to take advantage of the bubble.

I think it would be possible. But don't underestimate the importance getting paid off for legitimate hands has even for a great stealer. You need some ammo and winning at showdown now and again helps in getting ammo.

U would basically have to fold to every push unless u have 2-1 pot odds, thats such a huge dificulty. You would do too many mistakes throughout the SNG( not puhsing AJ, foldin KK to a limp, pushing with 72o when its only +ev to push +50% hands, etc, etc.

So what ROI do you think is attainable at the 10+1 level implementing this strategy?
I think 10% ROI for a player that beats the upper games would be around the maximum.
What about playing in the dark until in the money. Can a great player be profitable in this situation?
