Michael Dukakis. That tank ride was instantly fatal.

Rosie Ruiz.

Mickey Rourke.

Fatty Arbuckle.

Almost all of the Hollywood 10.

Doyle Brunson is a legend, but after almost winning three in a row, he hasn't won the top prize for 25 years.

Paul Herman -- the Peewee guy. He was huge and unbelievably talented, and instantly 100% destroyed basically permanently.

By the way, why is Carey counted among those who took the plunge? Sure, she's a nutball, but that rarely bothers anyone when it comes to celebrities. Isn't she still one of the best selling artists of all time?

I meant in terms of talent and quality music produced.

Oh, and also Mike Judge. Beavis and Butthead was fun and Office Space was great. King of the Hill is painfully dull crap.

King of the Hill is a great show. Just underappreciated because of the South Park's and Family Guy's of this world. If I see it on TV, I'll stop to watch it, but won't plan my life out to see it (like SP or FG).

That's Paul Reubens. He lost it all thanks to jerking off in a porno theatre. If only he had the fortitude of KaneKungFu.

99% of those teen actors have fallouts...

Remember when Cruel Intentions came out and everyone was hot on all them? Reese Witherspoon is the only one to come out still alive.

If you don't like it you're watching it with the wrong idea. Take it for what it's worth and not something that is constantly throwing out hilarious jokes. It's a good show.

Ah, thanks. Wasn't sure of the last name, but Herman stuck in my head somehow.

Yeah.

The most amazing thing is, doesn't Kane live in Thailand, around all those beautiful girls that will be your love slaves for five bucks and think any American goober who makes minimum wage is the catch of a lifetime? If you can't buy or date a beautiful girl there, you just must not be trying.

Blame that on marriage, not falling off. Ryan Phillippe picked up Reese, then became preoccupied with production, and SMG was picked up by Freddie Prinze. Selma Blair gets roles. Who else was there? Tara Reid with a bit role, Sean Patrick Thomas is still around. Their 'falloff' is nothing compared to Michael Jackson's.

I can't believe nobody remembers how huge Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice, and M.C. Hammer really were.

Also, when his show got cancelled, I think Fred Flintstone became an alcoholic, and Bam Bam got killed in Vietnam.

Monica Seles. She was dominant before she was stabbed on the court. When she returned to play, she never bothered getting in shape again. She was afraid to be a great player again and afraid to quit altogether.

Second place is David Duval. The guy was #1 and won something like 13 out of 36 starts over an 18 month period. Now he can't break 80 on consecutive days. I can't understand this one at all, but it happens in golf.

I don't think you can include musicians/singers in this category. Most of them have only one artistic angle that can be fresh and interesting exactly once. Follow up efforts are rarely more than repackaging of the first hit(s)/sound.
