I'm usually not one to brag, but I flopped my first ever royal today. Anyone know if Poker Star's offers a bonus or prize for a royal flush?

Here is the hand:

UTG (poster) checks, 1 fold, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls.

Flop: (6 SB) K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, T/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)

Congrats, I don't think Stars offers any RF bonus though.

For anyone else who is curious, the answer is no /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Here is their reply:

Hello Jason,

Congratulations on your Royal Flush!! That is very exciting. Some people will play a lifetime and never have that happen to them!

As for the Royal Flush jackpot, PokerStars does not offer one. Sorry.

Thank you for playing on PokerStars, and continued good luck to you!

Atleast your email was congratulative and nice. I emailed Empire when I got my first royal, "we offer no royal flush promotion" and that was all they said.

The most important thing is you didn't try to slow play. The reward for that is a life time of taking extra bets from your opponent, which is far superior to any Pokerstars t shirt.

Unless it was a REALLY nice t-shirt.

The Empire response is not surprising. They had better adapt their customer service and rewards quickly or they will follow the well beaten path of the failed competitor. You wouldn't even know that they were in the midst of a fierce market battle with several other "identical" skins. Are they TRYING to lose?

I still don't understand people's excitement over a Royal Flush. You usually don't with big pots with royals. I've probably had 12 of them this year. Who cares?

You've played 12 x 649,750 = 7.8M hands so far this year?

That sounds pretty time consuming.

all the cryptologic sites pay a bonus of up to $1,000 depending on the limit you play for a royal flush. They even pay it for omaha. I guess you should have been playing there. But congrats.
3.

nope 53.7 billion.....things always happen to what the odds say.....i had 3 in one day. How many hand must I have played that day? 78 million?

I saw a lady hit 5 jackpots on video poker in 1 day (no multitabling)......defies the laws of science.
