i reposted the question elsewhere, but cited the source with a link back to the original thread. posting it as original is shitty.

Ok so did we ever agree on whether gonores actually made this up himself or that he stole it from one of the other forums....

Google "How many 5 year olds"

Almost every hit links back to 2+2. There was something admittedly similar on some marijuana forum from a few years back, but it wasn't fleshed out like my question, and it didn't have any legs. My claim is that I did not see that post before I posted my question. I still stand by that claim.

And this thread is clearly a copy of this one. EDIT: Apparently URL tags aren't working?

wow i cant believe this. quite frankly, i never saw what was so amazing about the 5 year old thread, although it was a cool idea. to have people plagurizing it and putting it all over the net astonishes me. imagine if gonores becomes the guy who starts the next big internet trend.

http://img254.echo.cx/img254/2913/iveyavatar8wg.gif Avatars are being ripped off too, here's an example. [Unless you TStoneMBD and this guy Waldo are the same fellow.]

Waldo's Avatar from FullContactPoker (http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=1360)

Also the "He So Mad, He Call Me with Jack High" avatar is being used there too.

im not waldo and i definitely made this avatar. for those that dont know though, i took the images from the poker lookalikes thread. worst part about it is that the guy is using my webhost.

Can you add another image that says "Waldo sucks!" That way, if he's just stealing it from your webhost, then it will automatically change his avatar, right?

It was in a doper website years before it came out on 2+2. Gonores may have come up with it independently, or maybe he heard it years ago and doesn't remember, who knows. But he wasn't the first.

i figured it out. i cant believe i was so dumb not to think of that.

nm, i dont think imageshack allows you to change file names. also, when you upload an image it automatically changes its name to some random extension.

so did you put up a decoy avatar yet?

TStoneMBD
05-10-2005, 06:39 PM
no. unfortunately i cant. you cant change file names at imageshack and when you upload an image it automatically adds 3 random characters to it. so instead, i deleted the image from there and uploaded it to photobucket. hopefully the guy will steal the image from the new location and i can pwn him then ;[
