Party Poker make up

I received this in an e-mail from party poker yesterday:

Additionally, we are having a tournament on Saturday, December 14th at 3 pm
EST and all 443 participants on Day 1 of the Semi-finals are eligible to
participate. The prizes for this tournament will be as follows:

1st place - Cruise Package ($7200 value)
2nd place - Cruise Package ($7200 value)
3rd place - Entry into WPT Invitational tournament at the Commerce Casino
($200,000 prize pool) + $500 in cash
4th - 10th place = Free entry into the Semi-finals in January
11th - 40th place = $100 each

While I would have liked to have had 11 more spots offered in this make-up tourney, I think this is still a generous compensation for thurday night. By my count, Party Poker is giving away over $20,000 in this tourney. I was pretty mad about Thursday as it was happening, but after what was done about rescheduling and adding this tourney, I feel that Party should receive some kudos. Good Job Party Poker!


P.S. I'd like to hear the opinions of Jimbo, Glenn, Granny and Homer, as we all shared the same sentiment about thursday night.

There is already a thread see "party poker fix". MS and I agreed that it was a good solution. I don't know about the others.

This stupid non-chronological thread garbage is confusing.
