So I guess I called mainly because I could see a fish making this play with either a ten or a 9 and there are more tens than nines. Also I could see a fish slowplaying a set of nines against my obvious overs. Does anyone disagree with this call??

ugh. please tell me you had some, any read on this player. saying someone is a fish isn't enough. some fish play too many hands. some fish push with the non nuts, other fish push only with the nuts. you gotta tell us more.

without it, i can't fold here. JJ QQ KK , overplayed QJ, all could happen

I think it's fine. Unless by 'fish' you mean that you have never seen him raise in 10K hands played together. In that case, I would fold.
