I have a hard time with level 4 pushes, so I usually don't make them. But I was wondering if this one was ok or not... If it makes a difference blinds were going up in 4 hands.

SB vs BB with KJs and a 8xbb stack? Sure, fine push. I think you're posting this because you lost.

Seems like a pretty easy push from the SB... In EP I'm not so sure myself (this is one of the areas I'm working on myself) but from the button/SB KJ is a real solid hand to push with.

If he has any reasonable calling standards at all, I would.

Say 55-AA, A7-AK, Maybe throw in KQ. I assume this is at least close to the range dfscott is referring to.

A pair, Ace-any, King-any, QT+, suited connector > 98s, etc. IOW, you expect to have some fold equity. Obviously, if you're sure he's calling, pushing is bad.
