The Dell widescreens I know about are too short vertically. Unless they like just last week came out with a new model or something, but I think I would have heard about it if they did.

The thing is of course that you need the 1200 part of a 1600x1200 resolution if you want no overlap. And the Dell widescreens don't have it.

Last I heard they can't even do 4. Zoo is a better place for this q.

To do 6 with no overlap, it would need to do 2400 x 1350 (assuming 16:9), which I don't think Dell is doing yet.

Might be the new Dell 2405FPW.

Well they lists its max resolution at 1920x1200, so it should handle the vertical portion of the equation just fine. The problem is with the 1920 you won't be able to fit three tables across without any overlap. You'd probably end up with in total half a table of overlap per set of three. Now I don't think this would be much of a problem as you should easily be able to choose seats such that your cards are always visible and the location where the action buttons are are always visible.

Hardly looks like a deal to me, unless you can get it for half price.

I got two 2001fp's for $400 each.

Regardless, even if it could fit 6 tables, for the same price, actually less, why not get two monitors that can manage 8 tables?

1920 won't do six.

I'd use this thing for watching DVD's in bed.

i think it'd be much easier with them all on one screen as opposed to two...but i've never tried 2 2100FP's side by side so maybe that is utopia. Looks like i'll soon find out as 6/w overlap doesn't sound like much fun.

damit, so i was planning on getting the new 24 inch wide screen. Sounds like I shouldn't. Which should I get? 17 inch, 19inch. Raptor had some sick pics posted of his ride a few weeks ago. Not sure what that freaking holla had, but it looked good

2100FP 20.1"'s are the gold standard...but i thought Dell had come out with the next best thing for us...but it appears not.

Go with the Dell 2100FP Flat Panels. You can get them direct from Dell for ~$575 right now.

get 2 2001f instead of the 2405. it's more cost effective.

i'm 6 tabling using a 2001f and a 1701f. going back and forth between the 2 is no problem.

your video card has a regular vga connecttion and a DVI connection?

dunno about the connections, my business partner handles all this stuff...i'll just hand him the monitor and wait /images/graemlins/grin.gif
