I rented this movie yesterday and it started out pretty terribly IMO but progressively got much better.

Anyway, was this a true story? It treated it as if it was without explicitly saying so.. i.e. "John W Creasy died blah blah blah", "Daniel "el voz" rodriquez (I made that up I don't remember) was captured blah blah blah"

Anyone know?

I despise Denzel Washington. And I wanted to hate this movie. By the end, I was very entertained.

i think the true story is much less hollywood then what the movie portrayed.

Why do you hate denzel? He is undoubtedly one of the best actors of our era...
