The bumpage of the dead ISOP thread reminded me of this, but the bluff poker guys (fantasy poker challenge) (http://www.fantasypokerchallenge.com/) are doing an internet based poker series, and it looks pretty cool.
The series will consist of $30+3 MTT's across various sites, which will pay out normal cash prizes, and the Bluff guys will be adding various prizes for the top X finishers that are participating in the tour (I think the top few added prizes are significant value, like a $1500 solid gold card cover or something, lol). At the end of the season, a final tournament will be played, with starting chip stacks based on how well you did during the tour. The winner of this tournament gets entry into three WPT events in 2006.

I am not a shill for these guys or anything, I just think this is cool.
It looks like they may be giving extra bonuses/reloads for the circuit sites if you sign up via the tour as well. I know the first one is at Pokerroom, and they give you an extra large first-time bonus, or a reload bonus if you are already a member.
