i'm reading The Food Revolution by John Robbins and apparently it's a lot healthier to eat a vegan diet than the carnivorous one i've been on. i don't know if i can live on such a diet but i'm trying to at least cut back on meat and dairy products.

I'm not positive about this, but I think that soy milk and 2% milk are very similar in nutritional content.

Rice milk is better. Buy a few different brands and see which you like best. Zee posted about this. I thought he was crazy, but after giving it a try I've been drinking rice milk ever since.
