Opponent seemed decent. 18 VP$IP and 10.5 PFR, his aggression factors are 2.26 on the flop, 1.89 on the turn and 1.4 on the river after about 750 hands. Is the cap on the turn too much? If not, how about the river raise?

So what hands do you think he would 3-bet preflop, flop and turn that I can't beat?

A3, 33.

there's no way a decent player 3bets the flop with 33 or a3 here. Maybe A3c but thats it.

well he'd have to both 3bet preflop from sb with 33 and then 3bet the flop. I dont really see someone with these stats do that often. Plus there are only 6 combos of 33.

There's also not one hand a decent player can have here so your logic is pointless.

yea this is kinda one of those the sb slows down in fear of a bigger straight...but i can't see anything else a decent player has here than a straight that goes 4 bets& then bets the river.

No, I don't think it's too much. I wouldn't be worried about BB having 33 or A3 as 22/44/55 are much more likely given the flop action. A3 /images/graemlins/club.gif is possible but I'm not sure he'd 3-bet that pre-flop. 33 is the only hand I fear and I'm not sure if he 3-bets the flop with that. I think you win this one.

Looks like set over set to me.

Look at it from villain's point of view. If he flops a set, he can't put Hero on the straight either so he caps the flop and turn.

When he is raised again on the river, he grudgingly accepts that hero may have him beat. I'm guessing villain had 55.
