no site has a downloadable Mac client.

www.pokerroom.com (http://www.pokerroom.com) has a Java client version which will run inside your web browser. that's pretty much where all the Apple and Unix people play.

Bugsy's Club (http://www.bugsysclub.com/club/register/bcregister.htm) has a downloadable Mac client. Look for the link titled "Instructions for Mac Users".

Find yourself a PII 800 with 256MB of RAM. That should run the pokersites.

PT might not work so well on the fly, but it is EV- not to be able to play at all sites and whore casinos.

Mac holds too small of a market share for it to really be profitable to market towards those users.

I heard a % the other day and I want to say it was 6% but don't quote me on that,

6%??? there are like what, 5 million mac users in the us at least?

6% of 5 million is a hell of alot of centavos.

so i figured it out, if anyone cares and has a mac, you can buy virtual pc for your mac, and run windows on your mac, it allows you to run any of the online poker sites software and it's really easy to turn on and off.

PokerRoom supports Macs. Is that vaulting them to the top? I don't think so . . .

The only downloadable client I know of is Bugsy Club. I like the software but the game selection sucks mostly a couple of .05/.10 NL games which use to be very loose and the occasional 5+.5 NL sit and go. There are some good low buy in tournaments ($1-$50) which can have over hunderd players. Unfortunatly Bugsy's club has never had any good advertising so it has never really caught on. Pokerroom's java client is pretty good has good games and tournaments. I use Virtual PC 7 running Win 2000 to play the party skins and stars, crypto skins run way too slow but I can multitable party on my 1.3ghz powerbook. But I finally bought a crappy dell inspiron 8000 so I can multitable better and hit up interpoker.

Cheers

www.victoriaspoker.com (http://www.victoriaspoker.com) also offers a Mac download, good luck finding a game there.
