Villian is loose PF at 35%. He's not horrible and usually shows down good hands. But he certainly isn't reading this board from what I see of his play. I stacked him earlier (see bottom for that hand /images/graemlins/smile.gif ) I'm playing 1 100NL table as I contemplate moving up again.

At any rate, comments welcomed.

I normally raise here and considered reraising except now I'm concerned someones got KK. At the time, I'm trying to build the pot. I usually play this faster. I guess I'll risk the spade.

raise the turn!

and yes push the river, although i have a feeling you ran into kk here?

either way i'm re-reraising on the turn, pushing on the river.

YOu realize you slowplayed yourself into oblivion in this hand.

You have a monster, show no strength, fear the very unlikely nuts, and want to call to build the pot. wtf is going on here.

How is calling on the turn building the pot? People aren't putting any more money in on the river when their draw misses. Make them pay on the turn.

I'm beat by KK and 44 on the river. Neither of which goes away if I bet. I want worse hands sticking around don't I?

Quit fearing KK and 44. If they have either of these you were just unlucky, but don't get scared about things. I don't understand your "If the flush showed" comment, but yes, you want worse hands coming with you, but you also want the pot bigger so they have more reason to call on the end if they have a hand.

Thanks for the input, I think the turn is horrible.

In response, turn doesn't build the pot. Flop was an attempt to by hoping for an overcall. Turn, I'm seeing monsters. I should have pushed the turn.

Push on the turn? Crazy talk. That'll push out nearly everything you want in. Just make a decent raise. $40 seems nice.

Thanks, I think this is what I'm looking for. Playing a bit higher than I normally do and missed the raise.

And misunderstand the build the pot. Was thinking it was to drag more in. Not to tie them to the pot to get more on the river.

My comment about the flush card was that never remember that a full house beats a flush /images/graemlins/tongue.gif. Cause I'm a moron. /images/graemlins/smile.gif I didn't think I could slowplay myself into oblivion because anything that beats never goes away even if I bet.

Skeme thanks for the multiple comments. Very helpful.

I am unlucky, villian shows 44 and I head back to the kiddie pool for the night. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

Actually, I took some time off and went back to the table later and won a bit back. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Nah, I reached down for a pair and shoved it in.

Ballsy... you've got the third best possible hand; you lose to quads, or some guy who decided he should limp/call with KK. Neither of these are very likely. I'll put your opponent on AK or KQ or something. Might be the old "Ooh, paired board. Now I have TWO pairs!"

I hated the beat. But after the hand, hated how I played it worse than the beat. I'm not Helmuth and can't lay this down to an opponent with 35 %VPIP. But my game needs some work.
As Skeme pointed out, I didn't build the pot properly when ahead. I didn't charge him the maximum to draw to his 2 outer. Worse case if I do bet is I win the pot.

There was one indication I'm improving. I didn't go on Tilt after my bad play. I posted my bad play and will hopefully learn from it. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
