Is there another way I should have played this? I'm fairly new to SNGs and no-limit.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (7 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

MP2 (t940)
CO (t800)
Button (t815)
SB (t1285)
BB (t1085)
Hero (t1235)
MP1 (t1840)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, J/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
Hero raises to t400, 3 folds, Button calls t400, 2 folds.

Flop: (t950) 4/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, A/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (t950) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t415 (All-In), Hero folds.

Final Pot: t1365

Should I have raised less pre-flop? I raised 3xBB, but I'm wondering if I should have raised less, or possibly pushed? (I didn't like the idea of pushing, with so many people left behind me)

I checked the flop, planning to fold to a bet by my opponent. My thinking is that any hand he could have called my pre-flop raise with beats me now. I figure him for Ax or a better pair than mine. I thought that he could possibly have TT, but I didn't think it likely.

I thought briefly about calling his turn bet, but I continue to believe that I'm beat, and losing will leave me crippled at T400 chips. If I fold, I'm still in the game with T800.

Is my thinking here OK? Should I have made a feeler bet on the flop?

Thanks,

Lead the flop.

I'd call the turn, since you may have induced a bluff.. I think most aces bet out on the flop. You're good here more than needed for the call to be profitable.
