so my gf and i go to see Kingdom of Heaven today (i thought it was really good BTW) and when we get there we see all these people dressed as knights. some are going to the movie and some are actually having mock fights.

does anyone find this random? i mean i think its strange when LOTR fans and Star War followers camp in costume outside movie theaters but i guess i at least expect it.

anyone see this movie tonight and did anyone have knights parading everywhere?

oh and what did you think of the movie?

I saw it, and thought the movie sucked. It flowed horribly and was so ridiculously PC it made me want to gouge my eyes out.

I've seen a man dressed as Jesus and a man dressed as the Easter bunny have a lance fight on bikes in the middle of my school's campus....

might have been SCA. They do mideivil battles, Hold rennasiance fairs, etc.

LARPers are [censored] odd. At my college, they would pretend to be vampires.

Are those the same guys that act out RPGs? Like they'll eat stuff to gain HP and gain Exp. through their mock battles?
