Please someone help me get away from internet poker. Is there a pokerroom in Toronto...one I can get to by taking public transportation. Directions would be appreciated.

I live in Toronto too but I don't know of any clubs. Please, if someone does, let us know! I'm a really bad poker player, it will be to your benefit!

There's a poker room in Port Perry( Blue Heron)....Barrie ( Casino Rama) and in Brantford ( Brantford charity casino).

.....All within 1.5 hours from Toronto.....both Port Perry and Brantford being a 1 hour drive....Rama...1.5 hrs.

What are the chances that toronto would have one within the city? I mean theres the racetrack, lottery, and all sorts of other gambling. Major Cities in the U.S. have them all over. Even major Canadian cities too!

It is strange that in a major city like Toronto,there is no major casino where one can play HE. It seems that the nearest one is at least an hour's drive away and even then the rake is too high $10/pot. I was discourage when I called them while there 2 years ago didnt even bother. If anyone knows of any, please post. /forums/images/icons/frown.gif

No poker clubs or rooms in TO. Doesn't sound right, nowadays. I think that I've seen others inquiring in the "B&M Cardroom" forum. There are 4 casinos here in Edmonton - all with poker rooms - at least 2 are open 24/7. The rakes are 5% to a $5 max for flop games and a ridiculous 10% for 7CS. See you in Paradise.

I frequent a club in Toronto which is incredibly profitable. There are many horrible players there and the place is full of rich orientals. I've heard of others but this one is the only that I go to regularly. You need to know someone who plays there to get in. When I went to the CNE last summer I met the guy who runs the place and he gave me his business card. Once I went to the club other players were giving me their cards as well and telling me to go to their games instead. There are many around but most are well hidden and unknown.

Hey, I went to the Ex to play poker last summer! (Easiest money around, too bad it doesn't run all year...) And I post on twoplustwo! That means we practically know each other! So, can you tell me how I can find these clubs? Lol. Seriously though, if you could help me out with that I'd appreciate it. I am a very responsible individual, who would not jeapordize your situation in any way... Let me know what you think!

Listen to PokerPrince, he speaks the truth. Just go to CasinoRama or Port Perry, talk to the other players and most likely you will be given a few "business" cards advertising their underground clubs. There's lots of them around. Or better yet, if Prince is willing to clue you into his game go that route it sure sounds juicy!
