I was hoping the short stack would blind out didn't want to fight the big stacks, not sure if this was correct or not.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (4 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

BB (t609)
Hero (t1343)
Button (t4373)
SB (t3675)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>.

Final Pot: t300

Than later I get this and I fold it also, were both of these pushes?

I don't know what is correct, but on #1 I would push and I would fold on #2. Both moves are entirely read-dependent.

Does it make a difference that in Hand 1 BB is pot committed? He's got 400 after posting his blind so he'll probably call with any two.

EDIT: Similar situation in Hand 2.

Well, BB in theory should double up half the time, U have A7,thats a good hand 4-handed, I think its a clear push.
