He's extremely beloved, it seems to me. He was a one of a kind classic. I don't know if it's being underrated that's any problem for his music, so much as being dead for a good long time now and very early in his career. Croce died long enough ago that most kids probably never even heard of him.

Croce was definitely a great songwriter. Hell of an artist; the real thing. We lost a lot.
