View Full Version : Need urgent help(account created in my name)

And it was my PIN from InterPoker. Very disturbing, seeing as how I have never created an account at IP. It told me that I opened an ECash account, which I know for a fact I never did. So, I download IP and I try to log in with the username on the letter. The name and password don't work(if I HAD created the account, I would have used one of five or so passwords, and none of them work)

So, what kind of damage can somebody do with this Ecash account? I am going to call IP, but I will not be able to call for a few hours. Will I be okay until then? Does this person have my bank details? Other than calling IP, what other course of action should I take?

Thanks.

i would check your neteller and bank account statements (and firepay, citadel, 900pay if you have them) to be sure.

That's very odd. Had you signed up with any of the ecashdirect places? Maybe they somehow generated a pin for the wrong account by accident.

ecash is the processor for all crypto/wagerlogic sites. have you opened an account at any pokerrooms or casinos in that network?

also, call the customer service number for ecash. they will give you all the details of the account. they answer immediately

North America 1-877-874-0274
International +800-0874-0274
(Please add outbound country code prior to dialing)
Freephone (UK) 00800-0874-0274

Hmm...it's not like someone just signed up for the site for fun and put your info...because they'd still have to make a deposit to trigger the PIN request. Have you tried to do a "Forgot your password?" dealy?

well you're the only one that knows the PIN, right?

I'm thinking the ecash thing might have saved your butt on this one.

I still don't get why someone would do this. Hopefully they're good at poker.

I don't have a FirePay or Neteller account or anything like that. What's wierd is that my name AND address was used...so the person can't even withdraw money.

I haven't signed up for any other Crypto skins either.

How do I change my password on InterPoker?
