I don't own any poker software, but I am looking for some that provide a lot of practice drills on calculating pot odds for hold'em. e.g. "You have XXX with two card to come, pot is $YY and opponents bet is $ZZ. What are your pot odds and should you call?"

I don't do calculations (beyond some very basic ones) at the table currently, mostly becuase I am not in the habit.

This kind of software would be very easy to create I think. Do any of the current software progams include these kinds of exercises?

Thank you!

This is a very basic 4 outs = 10.5:1 drill.

You can do this whenever your driving or taking a dump.

1. Think of a random number, X. X is the number of outs you have. (4)

2. Calculate X:46-X (4:42), 46 is the number of unseen cards on the turn.

3. Reduce X to 1 (1:10.5). This is your drawing odds on the turn (basically 10.5 bets need to be in the pot for you to call 1 bet).

the guy asks an innocuous question as his first post and is treated like this? who the f&^%K are you?

to answer the OPs original question, there is no software that I know of that does this, although I'm sure others would find this useful too. just the examples in sshe show that these determinations are not easy to make, although you will learn over time that precise calculations aren't whats most important in succeeding in holdem
