It's starting small, but hopefully will get bigger /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

You have to play 375 raked hands. So that's 15 fold which is just stupidly high... and you don't get rakeback while you clear /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I saw the ad for this in the scrolly thing at the top...

If you’ve got an account with Eurobet.com then we want to give you $25 worth of chips in our Poker room, every month absolutely free!

The May bonus code is: MAY25

To claim your free chips simply follow these easy steps:

1. Make a note of this month's code;
2. Login to the Poker;
3. Go to the cashier and transfer at least $25 into Poker, but (and this is important) before you click 'Proceed' you must enter MAY25 in the bonus code box of which an example is highlighted below;

any clearing requirement? And this counts against MGR, I gather?

keikiwai

Yup, it's 15 fold.... 375 raked hands /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I am assuming this doesn't expire until the end of May?

So with the MGR penalty and it being 15x, this isn't even worth doing for rakeback players, is it?

$25...not bad, how much better (if at all) is this than rakeback for a 2/4 player?

keikiwai
05-06-2005, 03:29 AM
Not sure when it expires, but once you activate it, you have a month to clear.....

Someone posted on BW that this bonus actually isn't that bad if you are already getting rakeback at eurobet.

They said that it doesn't count against your MGR and that it is just raked and not contributed hands. Even if it was contributed, the important part is it doesn't count against your MGR and thus rakeback players get a free $25 for doing nothing more than they were before. Works for me.

Huh? If you have rakeback on eurobet and would be playing there anyway there is no way the bonus can hurt you. It's still free money.

Also, You have 30 days to clear the bonus.

And the code is MAY25

Well, it can. If it doesn't count toward the MGR then if my share of the rake is > $25 then I lose money...

That's not how MGR works. They take your generated rake and subtract the bonuses you've cleared. So if your share of the rake is $100, your MGR will end up being $75 once you've cleared the bonus on that and you'll still get your rakeback on it.

I didnt know how it would affect RB...RB is like magic to me. I play poker and someone pays me, I want to make sure a bonus wouldnt affect the amt I get, i.e., lower it

It's not a fantastic thing like people are saying. Last time I checked, rake was about 2.4BB/100 or so. 375 hands, say 500 total hands. That's 12BB. At 3/6, that's 72 in rake I pay. Don't think people clear any higher, but that would indicate to me clearing at 5/10 is losing me money. But apparently it doesn't count against MGR anyway. Hell, if it did count against MGR I'd pay them the bonus money I lost just so I wouldn't have to use that [censored] cashier.

can you transfer 25 from poker to sportsbook and then right back into poker and get this bonus?

Ok, THis is how it works.

RB= (REvenue-Bonus)* RB%

This means for the amount of the bonus, you recieve 100% rake back from the site, after u cover that amount in revenue, u recieve RB as normal.

It is impossible to "lose" money (via RB potential) clearing this bonus if u have a RB deal at euro.

Are you sure that's how it works on Eurobet? I know it works that way on other Party skins, but I thought that no MGR is accumulated on Eurobet while bonuses are being cleared.

I remember clearing my initial sign up bonus and having all rake generated kicked back to me without deductions. So yeah bonuses don't count against your MGR.

I just cleared a pretty big bonus on Euro (please don't ask or PM me) that took 6000 total (not raked) hands and I'm pretty sure it didn't cut that much into my rakeback because I would have noticed.

No, I'm not sure that's how it works on Eurobet. If it works as you say, then I definitely would like to know that because I won't do the $25 bonus. Can anyone confirm?

I'm pretty sure that it doesn't count against MGR, I only opened a euro account in the last few months, and I would have definitely remembered a 50 dollar hit to my rake.

Amercians can play in the casino. I believe they can't bet in the Sports Book, although you still have to route your deposits and withdrawals through there.
