So why do black people always live in the poorest part of a city? I think it must be the decades of evolution that took place when they were slaves and bred into them a desire to live in poor rundown areas.

Hahaha...not all of them do. I see black people in rich suburbs all the time. Not a lot, but they're there.

Seeing as the civil rights movement was during my parents time, I would assume they're still trying to come out of that. (It takes time).
