Opponent is very tight/weak. VPIP 12%, pre flop raise 10%. Folding often on the flop.

From your stats it seems like he's tight aggressive, not weak tight, folding on flop may well be because he's missed a few flops, or because of your limited perception of his game. I would probably check-raise the turn, there's lots of cards he could have hit on the board there, and you want to get as many bets in as possible. Given ther way you played it I would cap the river.

weren't you playing .50/1 this week, and thinking of quitting?

I don't mind the preflop call so long as you're not playing for set value. You have to be prepared to check raise flop / lead to turn on alot of boards.

If I really waited until the river here (I can't see myself not betting the flop) I would atleast cap it.

Agreed. The 33s were useless without a set or an extremely raggy board.

His 3-bet of my check raise startled me because I came out of hibernation when the 2nd J fell. It made me think he had 3Js beat. If he had 3 Js beat, he had me beat. So I backed off.

I like a turn raise. You are not bullet-proof with trip 3s. He may reraise you with AA or KK and you can go in again.

this very same hand appears in this micros post (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=2316549&page=0&view=c ollapsed&sb=5&o=14&fpart=1).

a check/bet/raise from 5/10 competition means something different than it does in 1/2, so which is it?

Raise the turn.
