View Full Version : Interested in Learning BlackJack

Hey guys, I'm interested in learning Blackjack, as well as doing a little casino whoring while I learn.

I want to learn optimum game strategy, not card counting / whatnot.

I saw a banner here once for a casino whoring site... but I can't find it now. If anyone could PM me with that, or reply to this thread, please do.

(I'm not looking for an affiliate, just a site URL that does or at least used to advertise here.)

Finally, I've checked a few blackjack strategy charts, and one that I found said that it excluded a few obvious spots. Since I'm not a guy that sees obvious things very easily, I could use a complete chart.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is mostly something for me to do when I'm tired of poker but interested in earning a little cash (through whoring) and interested in learning something that I could later use in a social situation (I know that blackjack is -EV).

Thanks,
Dave.

Thanks, but:

"Some obvious situations have been left out to keep the chart as small as possible. "

Any idea what they're removing from the chart?

Other than not hitting when you have blackjack or something like that?

Hit or Stand (http://www.hitorstand.net)

Check this site, very good for BJ, chart under strategy section.

I use it when I can't resist the temptation to play BJ while at paradise heh.

Try to stay away from it.

The obvious situations would be:
anything lower than a hard 8 is hit,
higher than a hard 17 is stand
Ace + 9 is stand

you can generate your own custom chart there based on the rules of the particular casino you're playing at.
