Ugh. So you so that monster pot with K8s vs JQs?

I'm sooooo angry. I had 44 and would have taken down a $200 pot with my flopped set. Almost enough to set a man on tilt.

Actually im on 5 tables cascaded with 99% overlap so im missing a lot of the action. Saw the table chat about it though. Lots of crazy players out tonight or is 50NL always this bad?

How often do you lay down sets? I can never bring myself too. I know this is results oriented but I'd have had a hard time laying that down i think. I tripled up on another table earlier with 555 bottom set vs KT 2nd pair and AJ high pair J kicker. There were no draws my opponents were practically drawing dead vs me. Also I think I misplayed those kings now that im thinking about it did u see the hand?

Yeah I looked through the HH. It's really tough to lay down KK preflop at this level, and almost always a mistake. Of course seeing a flop in this case would have helped you get away from the hand, but that's being results oriented. What if you let him see a cheap flop with AT?

Ya I agree I put him on higher than AT but I catch your drift. I think maybe I shouldve called with such deep stacks but I guess thats as you say results oriented. Did you notice I announced it was my last hand? It was my last hand but I think maybe I tricked myself into believing he had fallen for my little trick.

I like. While you run the risk of not knowing this guys raising standards and running right into a fool with AJ, I expect you to take this down a great deal of the time. For all he knows you are the gamblin guy who sits down, calls because you are already invested, then you flop trips. Looks good.

Seems solid to me. It's hard to play these hands with no reads. Your steal attempt is very solid here. If it wasn't raised you'd only need to bet about 1/2 the pot to win this 70% of the time. With a raised pot 2/3 bet is fine.
