Well, its that time of night again, when I start realize I should study for my test instead of playing poker. So I thought it was a fitting time to post my challenge. This challenge is inspired by fellow poster TT-FOLD, who recently posted a challenge (posted on general holdem). Also Raptor's challenges were pivotal in my inspiration. Anyway, alil background on myself. Im 19. I play poker instead of workstudy cus workstudy is for fish. Iv been playing since 17, but only have recently become a winning player ( or so, I think). I introduced TT-FOLD to poker back in '03, and he in turn introduced me to trout. Heres my challenge. I need to earn 10K to pay for college and other expenses by the end of summer. To make it interesting, I will try to earn it by June 18th. That makes it about $270/day since I will start on May 11th. I will be 8 tabling 55s as usual. My prechallenge challenge is to get the total of my 2 accounts to 5000 (currently at 3500) by May 11. Wish me luck. Peace.

PS: I might start a blog to keep updates. Any recommendations?

Good luck on your challenge, I think those are very acheivable goals depending on how much you play.

If you want to do this I don't think it should be in this forum unless a ton of people disagree with me...

He raised 6x BB which makes me think he has 10/10 or something like it.

I would have put him all in for a coinflip that could knock him out.

Haha what are u smoking, I dont want a coinflip that early. Besides, he could just as easily have KK.

I'm smoking weed. Lots of weed.

That's a rather large raise for K/K don't you think?
It's not as likely. Rather, it's much less likely. Especially if you have one of the kings.

You have the stack to cover. I would use it. But that's just my humble opinion.

A fold here is very weak. If you're scared of coinflips, then just call.

Oh, and don't mock people who reply to your posts. It's not nice. You almost made me cry.

Come on man, easy call on the button. If you like the flop push him all in. If he pushes, you can always get away if the flop was unkind.

Also, im an 18 year old college student looking to do the same thing over the summer, although I only have a bankroll of about 600 so im off to a slow start. Keep us updated on your progress.
