I currently 8 table 55s on PP. I like to usually listen to Tupac or the Backstreet Boys. Occasionally, i will blast Shania Twain and Natalie Imbruglia. I find that my ROI is greatest when 8 tabling to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn". I would leave this on all the time, but it does get repetitive so I am looking for other +EV songs. Thoughts?

PS: Anyone know the $EV of listening to the Pokemon theme song while 8 tabling?

A solid trance/ambient mix generally does it for me. Although most mixes I've used in the past couple months haven't veen very +EV anyway....so...meh.
Natalie Imbruglia is a solid pick. Shania is very marginal...b/c it won't actually increase your Shania (I thought it would but it doesn't /images/graemlins/frown.gif ) and then you're stuck listening to Shania....
The Hero soundtrack is a choice pick as well...

Yeah, I also thought that "I feel like a Woman" would increase my Shania but so far it hasnt done the trick. Im pretty break even this week, I think partly because i listened to Jay-Z most of the time. He is the greatest but not for my ROI...What do you think about jewish reggae artist "Matisyahu". I think he is the shizzle.

Same playlist I run to. The key songs are Whitesnake "Here I go again" (the slow version), Foo fighters "Hey, Johnny Park", Coheed and Cambria "Favour House Atlantic", Alien Ant Farm "Movies" and Mylo "Drop the pressure"- these songs always help going up a hill, and seem to coincide with good fortune online.
Pretty much just any song you know by heart that doesnt take any effort to listen to- into the zone. Then again, I'm only up to 3 tables....

I tend to listen to mellower stuff. I like to listen to some form of trance (Sasha's "Airdrawndagger" CD being my top pick), or classical. Sometimes I'll branch out and throw in some non-mellow stuff like 311 or Collective Soul, but not often. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Oh, I can't forget Rammstein. Their Herzeleid stuff is best for multitabling. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

This had to be tried, and Yugo is correct, it doesn't increase your Shania. Maybe playing it backwards....

Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music.
I find that something classy like Shania will not give +EV, its all about necro...and chat some of his lyrics to others players and the will become extreme tiltmonkeys.

Been on a Suicidal Tendencies kick of late. Lights, Camera, Revolution kicks keester. Their tune Send Me Your Money is entertaining, though not even close to being about poker.
Fugazi is always a favorite.

Studys have been shown that the type of music your listing to can affect your aggresivity. I would be careful with your selection of music due to the fact a faster tempo music would relate to more rash decisions and bad thinking, wile a slower tempo would lead to an overrelaxation and apathy, all obviously affecting poker style and play.
