I play 20-40 HE live and do well averaging a little bit more than a big bet an hour over the last 6 months...recently I have started playing 5-10 Hold-em online at Paradise mainly and also Pokerstars when it goes. I have had good success at both so far in a very small sample, but it seems like there must be looser better games out there (especially compared to Paradise which is easily tighter than my normal live 20-40.) So my question is...what are the best 5-10 hold-em games out there on the web, and are there any higher games which are particulary good games also? thanks in advance, I am a regular lurker and appreciate all the advice I have already take from this website

At PArty Poker the 5/10 ring games are pretty loose. If you like shorthanded the 5/10 SH games are nearly as profitable as the 15/30 games with much lower fluctuation.

When you say lower fluctuation, you mean $$ fluctuation, not BB fluctuation, correct?

I agree with Jimbo on Party. You might wanna check out pokerroom also. Finally, Planet's games are also good. Good luck!

The 5-10 games at Party can get tough, but generally they're pretty good. There's no way you can earn in 5-10 at Party though what you could make at 15-30. But it's not unreasonable to make between $10 and $25 an hour depending on how many boards you play at once. Pokerroom's decent but they don't get anything over 5-10 too often. I think Party's the place right now.

Shogun,

What I should have stated more clearly is the risk to reward ratio in the 5/10 games at Party is much more favorable than the 15/30. Depending on your skill level yes some people may earn much more at the 5/10 than the 15/30.
