OK, I am adopting the super wednesday and the Stars limit Saturday. Aside for the Sundays, these will be the only tourneys I will be playing for a while, so they have to have threads. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

So, GL all.

I'm in like Flynn, Baby! Sweet draw at table 5!

1340. My lord there are some fish on my table. I know it is early and a lot of players think you're supposed to play stupid early, but MY LORD!!!!

I've played 3 hands outside of the blinds. JJ/KK were winners, AQ was a loser. Also semi-bluffed in the BB for a little pot. Oh, I did call a couple times PF in the blinds, but other than that....

3329. Got up as high as 6700. Then no cards would hit the flop AND 3rd button wouldn't fold /images/graemlins/frown.gif

I had to pay off a player when I flop a flush draw with an over. Also doubled up LordHutty (a bad player to double up) when he (correctly) chases down a queen to beat my 99. 45o calls me from the BB - I only bet once - I had him as a fish who would call down with any pair.

Anyway, little frustrated to blow my lead (2nd overall in chips!!!) But, I am still alive and avg stack at the 2nd break. So, so far so good. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

EDIT: BTW the MOTHER of all FISH is at my table and still doing "well". That is, he keeps getting chips and then giving them away.

so with my last 1000 chips, I raise K9o out of position. I get 3-bet by.... 44. I lose when I don't improve.

I misplayed this. I was thinking NL strategy for some reason. This tourney is about whether the fish get you, or you get the fish. Hell, that is all Limit poker is about, but in a tourney situation, there is no "long-run" where you always end up a winner. GL to NLSoldier.

Barring reads, I'm folding KQs to an EP raiser - very easy fold really unless raiser is a complete wildman.

Also, I love your three bet on the turn. I see this all the time at 15-30 - someone with an ok hand goes crazy because there is a possible str8 or flush on the board. Surprise, surprise, he isn't semi-bluffing a draw.

Also, what are you doing with that 55 hand? Very easy PF fold. You COULD make an argument for 3-betting a single raiser, but a raiser AND a CCPF???

Ah, whatever, you're kicking azz and I'm leaning on the rail. Keep up the good work.

As far as KQs I think is close since there was already a cold caller. Maybe just too used t 6max.

The 55 hand, I was basically hoping to bust out or double up. By that point I was ready to be done with this thing because I have alot of other stuff to do tonight. I got lucky.
