All of the discussion about PV going commercial, and GT+ going open source has gotten me to thinking about the most helpful programs/functions not yet available. If people are going to develop new software, I thought it might be helpful to start a thread with ideas for developers to think about. Since I started this thread, I'll contribute two ideas I think are lacking:

1. Hover/mouse-over for player notes. Right-clicking is a pain in the butt.

2. Buddy finder for your buddies that have made themselves "hidden from search".

#1 is feasible but quite hard work for such a small reward.

#2 2. Buddy finder - so I guess this would work by iterating all the tables to find where your player is sat? This would be very complicated, and probably low on the accuracy rating (think poker prophecy).

#3 Operating 2 seperate pointers with 2 mice would be very hard if not impossible, as it's not natively supported by Windows (2 mice operating 1 point, however, is). Here's a slashdot article (http://ask.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=9362&threshold=1&mode=nested&comme ntsort=0&op=Change), no one really suggests a way to approach the problem.
