No specific reads, but I figured MP1 was a bit weak because of his large bet on turn, so I moved in.

I don't read him as weak. Looks like he is trying to get hands like yours out.

I like it, especially if you have a read that he is capable of the laydown at least some of the time.

Barring any reads, I still like it, because I am a maniac and you have tons of outs.

My guess is villain folded and you took the pot without ever seeing a river card.

EDIT: The call could be nice as it might bring UTG+2 along for the ride, and you do have position which is very nice in this type of hand. I guess after thinking for a second, I would say call the turn and pump the pot with position if you hit. Seems like I might have made this move in the heat of the moment, but that is why I post and think about these types of hands...

I don't think his turn bet indicates weakness at all. On the contrary, I think you have a good chance of getting paid off if you hit on the river because it looks like he likes his hand a lot and won't be able to lay it down.

If you have a specific read, you can do this, but I don't think the average player folds a large enough percentage of the time for this to be +EV.

Last time I did this I got by an overpair and didn't improve, so I'm biased. But given that I did it before... I like it /images/graemlins/smile.gif

looks pretty good, but it'd be better to have a specific read.

With weak I didn't mean really weak, but rather with a hand like J something.
