OK,

So I was desperate for a Thai delivery place in my area and the only one I found is Malaysian/Thai and the Thai section of the menu has been sort of teh suck so far. I believe the owners to be Malaysians. What is a good Malaysian dish that I should have delivered tonight?

I can't understand why people don't like you.

If they have it, get the "Kerutuk." I reccomend having it with chicken (often one can choose between chicken, beef, or tofu).

Other good dishes:

Rendang, Goreng Pedas, and if you like spinach, Goreng Kang Kong.

Yea, rendang definitely. It's a really slow cooked beef curry. I don't know what the "goreng" means in front of it, but at my local Malaysian place the kang kong is great. I don't think it's spinach, but it's similar.

"Goreng" means fried.

Kang Koong is not spinach, although they call it water spinach sometimes. I think it tastes way better.

Nasi Lemak is a rice with various meats and eggs. Satay is also a good intro to Malaysian food.

If they have Roti Kanai (Canai or something spelled like that), its also good to go with your main dish. It's basically pan fried bread. Somtimes also served with a side dish of curry for dipping.

That post would have been "too obvious" and "beneath you" were it not for the great picture.
