OK, so I took their reload for a spin last night, dropped in $1150 or so and got a ~230 bonus. They put it in my account immediately. I played about 100 hands of $5/$10 and cashed out after having a terrible run of cards (down 30BB). They didnt seem to care that I hadn't met the bonus clearing requirement... Is this because I lost more than the bonus? Or am I missing something?

If you cashed out before meeting the bonus requirements, the bonus will be removed. They don't really care.

They have always added it to my regular account after playing very few hands. I have never had to wait until I played the required hands. I can't really tell you about cashouts, even though I do cash out from there regularly, I always have more than whatever my last bonus chasing deposit was.

Is this definite? I seem to recall having accidentally done this before, with the withdrawal being reversed.

It hasn't hit my neteller account quite yet, so I suppose it could still reverse.

Bodog treats the bonus that same way casinos (and Golden Riviera Poker) do. The bonus hits your account right away. You cna use it to play with, but you can't withdraw it until you meet the WR.

My experience was with the Casino. I redeposited for the Boogster100 fiasco, played through $150 or so, and cashed out my real balance. I may be mistaken, but I was pretty sure this is how it worked at their casino.

BoDog adds the bonus to your account as soon as you sit at a table, but you cant withdraw it until its been earned. They either wont process your withdrawal at all or will let you know that you need to play more to earn it. Also, the 50 points that you got for signing up dont count towards earning your bonus, so add 50 to whatever points you need to figure out when you can cash it.

I actually spoke to a customer service person there who told me exactly how many points i needed to clear the bonus. It was , i believe, 3x points to dollar in bonus. He said if i cashed out early they would just remove the bonus. Nice thing is they add it right away, and if you lose it, oh well...works in there sports book as well. I found the NL games there to be very jucy.

they'll probably send you an email soon saying that they're making your cashout -230 which is in uncleared bonus.

at that point they'll give you the opportunity to cancel the cashout.

or you might get lucky, i think they look at the bonus clearances manually because my friend slipped by once, after losing more than his bonus.

you will most likely get an e-mail like this:

-----

Dear Mr. *
Account: ******
Thank you for your payout request. It will be processed in the next 48 hours. We will deduct the
bonus amount of **** from your account as you have not satisfied the merchant rollover requirement
of five time deposit +bonus rollover (Sportsbook) and twenty times (Casino) / 3 points per bonus
dollar in the poker room. Please let us know if you wish to continue? If we do not receive a reply
within the next 48 hours, we will process the payout less the deduction. Thank you. Withdrawals Dept.

I will tell you that they USED to be pretty lax on the bonus WR back when it was 6x. I deposited and withdrew at least twice successfully in the past despite only earning about 50 player points each time. Since March when they changed over to the 20%/3x deal, I would presume that this loophole was closed.

it's reasonable to clear at $2/4 LHE and $1/2 NL, and the players are soft (though often aggressive), so it's fairly easy to come out ahead with this bonus overall, even done by the book.
