View Full Version : Making continuation bets

I'm trying to think through what flops are better/worse textures for continuation and probe bets (when you don't hit anything). My gut says that the best flops are the ones that have little or no draws followed up by paired flops like A88 and the worst are str flush high card draws like KQ9 or such. But then, if you have made what you think is probably best hand and want to induce people to call bad drawing odds, are the flops you prefer different now? I would think you'd then prefer the 2-suited or connected flops. Any comments?
