Some people here like chess. I play in a tournament every Teus. in San Francisco so I'll put up my game every week here for better or worse. I'll put some brief comments into it as well and maybe you want to comment on how you think I played. Whatever it should be fun.
Round 6
Going into this round I had 3/5 points. I missed the first two rounds and got half-point byes, then went +2 -1. So I'm +2 -1 =2 over 5 which isn't so bad. I'm in the middle of the field for this tournament.
Anyway, here's the game:
JaBlue - 1700 player
1. e4 c6 2. d4 d6 3. Nc3 g6 4. Be3 Bg7 5. Qd2 b5 6. 0-0-0 a5 7. f4 (I think 7. Bd3 was more accurate) a4 8. Bd3 h5 9. Rf1 Nf6 10. h3 Bb7 11. e5 Ng8 12. e6 Nf6 13. ef Kf7 14. Nf3 Kg7 15. Bg6 b4 16. Ne4 b3 17. Neg5 ba 18. Bf7 Kf8 19. Ba2 Bc8 20. Nf7 Qc7 21. Nh7 Bh7 22. Qd3 Ba6 23. Qg6 e6 24. Ng5 Qa5 25. Qf7#
My pairings have been very kind so far but I will probably be playing someone strong next round as I now have 4/6.
