2 Questions about School

I have yet to find out my roomate, but what would be the most important things besides a computer to have? Anything thats not obvious, like, t.v, fridge, etc. Do i need a really good desk chair?


Also, was/is anyone in here good at Organic Chemistry? Any clues besides constantly going to teacher for help? I *&^#ing hate that class

I'd advise getting at least 1 small lamp, probably more. Something like a desk lamp that clamps may be useful. A lot of dorms have flourescent lights, and I personally did everything to avoid using them. A microwave, too, is probably a good idea. Also, a comfortable chair of some type I'd go with. Either a couch or a loveseat or something from Ikea; anything for like a hundred bucks or less that you can toss after a year. Lastly, a Brita water filter couldn't hurt.

All you have to do is kick your rommate's ass on the first night or be somebody's bitch. The rest will take care of itself.

You need two things: 1. a good place to study and 2. time management system.

place: This means either a nice desk and chair or a favorite coffee shop or library.
If you study to music, then this means you need a CD player, iPod or radio.

Time management: arrange your classes carefully, try to think about what you need - lunch break, study breaks, fun time, trips home...
Use a calendar or chart to plot it out. It depends what kind of person you are - you might be more successful with a PDA or you might work better with a little booklet.
