Should I have folded preflop? I'm pretty sure a raise woulda been excessive. So my options were call/fold. No read on villian.

Thats a tough situation. The bettor could have a flush draw in which case you would be going against a draw early on and its not really worth the chips. However, he could have 99 or any number of hands. I usually go with my gut in these situations but I would fold because he MOST LIKELY has a high overpair.

I don't like calling here since you'll be out of position with a tough decision to make after the flop quite a bit. I also think raising is a bit too LAG this early at this level so I would fold. However, I'm much more likely to call this on the button
