You have a little less than half average stack, 50% of the field is out and you're still a good ways away from the money. What's your play with KJs UTG and 10bb? No crazies at the table.

I think this is a pretty clear fold at a full table. Wait for better position.

I'd much rather push/raise with a significantly worse hand in the cutoff or on the button than to push push/raise with KJs UTG.

agreed with mucking. i'd probably even muck a weak ace here.

10BB is getting to push or fold time but it's not time to panic yet, enough time for better position and hand.

KJs is a much better hand to push with UTG than a weak ace.

I agree that this is a fold though. With a smaller stack or later position you could push.

This is a clear fold, you have 10 bb's and most of the field is more short stacked than you are. Pick a better spot.

What is the ideal push range here assuming an average table with 10 players? I think I like pushing QQ-99 (maybe 88), AK-AJ, ATs, KQs. AA and KK I think I'd rather limp or make a 2-2.5x BB raise, assuming no one at the table has seen me do this before. Is this range too tight, too loose?

You definately don't want to push with AJ or ATs: they are much more likely to be dominated than KJs. KQs and AJs are borderline. It is kind of borderline, but you might be able to push with any pair. If you get called, it will be by a fairly big pair or high cards, so 55 and 99 are not that different to push with UTG (it is unlikely someone will call with 88).

Easy fold. With around 7BBs I like a push, but not with 10.
